Hey thanks heaps for coming in for your Spray Tan. I hope you are loving it :) if you have any questions please let me know. Bonus brownie points if you send me a selfie or hashtag #evolvebylyndall in your pics of you being fabulous for the weekend. TIPS FOR AFTER TAN THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP AFTER A SPRAY TAN IS THE SHOWER PROCESS After 2 hours (or longer – if you choose), shower quickly for 45 seconds, with lukewarm water. The brown bronzers will wash away, while the active ingredients continue to work and deepen.
DO NOT USE USE HOT WATER. It stops the development of the DHA during the development time. This is a common mistake people make, especially in the colder months. Use plain water, don’t use shower gels, scrubs, shampoos or loofah during the first 24 hours after your treatment.
Once you shower, you can wear your favourite clothes, go out of the house and definitely not stain the bed sheets. Your tan will develop into a natural colour over the next 8 hours without the hassle of fake tan staining and smell. Pat your skin dry. Do not rub or scrub your skin. Moisturize every day after the initial wash off night. For bonus points use Gradual Tan so the colour is continually being topped up and your tan lasts longer. After day 5, exfoliate with a soft body polish or glove on a daily basis, to help your skin absorb even more moisturizer and keep it looking and feeling gorgeous. This also helps the tan fade naturally, rather than in patches. Bondi Sands also has a great tan remover if you want to make it even easier 😃
